Playmaker Poker

The goal of playmaker poker is to use your hold cards in combination with the community cards to make the best possible combination for a five card poker hand, for a win. 

How to Bet

THE GAME CHALLENGE: 

1. Seven cards are best played with two-8 players. 

2. A selected dealer shuffles a full deck. The deal then cut the deck. 

3. Players are passed two cards face-down starting with the player on the side of the dealer. 

4. Five more community cards are placed face-up in the middle of the table. 

5. Players' are free to use these community cards in combination with their hold cards to build a five-card poker hand. 

Betting rounds:

1. Flop-the first three cards. 

2. The Turn-the fourth Community Card. 

3. The River-the fifth and final community card. 

A. Players may bet on each of these rounds, The first two players on the left of the dealer must bet on the Flop, the second better must double the first bet. 

B. Betting continues to the left. 

C. Players must, 

1. Call; match the amount of the previous bet. 

2. Raise; increase the bet with-in the specific limits of the game. 

3. Fold; that player is out of the game. 

4. Check; pass to the next player. 

D. Players can bet, no limit 

1. the previous bet. 

2. the minimum bet allowed. 

3. The total amount of the pot. 

F. Repeat betting for each round. 

G. Players have the option to check, bet, call, fold, or raise in each round. 

H. After all betting action has been completed the remaining players expose their holding to determine a winner. 

The player with the best combination of five cards wins the pot according to the official poker hand ratings. 

STRATEGIES TO WIN:

If the cards on the table lead to a better combination you can also play all five community cards. If the betting causes all but one player to fold, that remaining player wins the pot without having to show any cards. Players can bluff and pretend to play as if they have the best hand.
